Ridley Park Swim Club Code of Conduct
(Rules may be added as necessary)
The Board of Directors are committed to providing a fun safe environment for our members and their guests that supports honesty, integrity, respect, trust, responsibility, and citizenship. While each member must contribute to the creation and maintenance of such an environment, the Board of Directors assumes the overall responsibility for fostering an atmosphere that will bring out the best in each person. To accomplish this effort, RPSC established certain Rules of Conduct that must be followed by each member family and their guests. It is the member's responsibility to make sure all family members and guests abide by the RPSC Code of Ethics. It is also the responsibility of the members to monitor who their family members and guests interact with while at RPSC. If you have any questions regarding RPSC Rules and Code of Conduct, please let us know.
Any member or guest that does not adhere to the below rules or follow the direction of the Managers, Lifeguards, or Staff on duty will be asked to leave the pool property immediately. Members/Guests will not be refunded guest fees if dismissed from the property for cause. Depending on the severity of the infraction, RPSC may enforce additional disciplinary action against the member or guest not limited to not being allowed back on pool grounds as well as termination of membership for cause.

- All individuals, both on the pool deck and in the swimming pool must wear proper swim attire.
- All children in diapers must wear swim diapers. Cloth or disposable diapers are not permitted. Rubber pants must be worn over any diaper or swim diaper.
- Brazil/French-cut, thong style and/or translucent swimwear are prohibited from being worn on club grounds - violations of this policy are grounds for immediate dismissal off the club property
- Jeans, including cut-off jean shorts, skirts, sports bras, leotards, leggings and such are not to be worn in the water

Here are a few reasons why it is important to wear approved pool attire:
- Street clothes (especially those made of cotton) can transport air and waterborne contaminants to the pool
- Absorbent materials, such as cotton, can break down in the water. These fibers can clog pool filters and create the need for expensive repairs. Lycra and Nylon are the best non-absorbent materials for swimwear.
- Any colored or dyed materials (unless specifically made for swimming) can bleed into the pool, affecting the water chemistry.
No profanity or abusive language will be tolerated by anyone and is grounds for immediate dismissal off the club property.
